BTC leadership is monitoring the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our priority is the health of our employees, customers, and our community. As a result of being a utility, we take very seriously the continuity of business operations, so our network is stable and available for use during this uncertain time. We will continue to prepare for the impacts of COVID-19 and we will continue to actively review and update our business continuity plan to address this ever changing nature of this situation. We are considering all options to help maintain operations and provide uninterrupted service to our customers.
Beginning, Monday, March 16th, we will implement new policies for our staff and our operations to continue to provide service without interruptions to the best of our abilities.
- The Business Office Lobby will not be open to the public.
- The drive-thru is open. We encourage all customers to mail, use our on-line E-Care system, or call the office to make payments for service. You can reach BTC by calling 270-665-5186, email email@example.com or contact us via our website. You can also reach us on Facebook.
- We will continue to work troubles, installs and provide other services at your homes and business. We ask that you inform us if you are sick and we will do our best to help you remotely. If you have flu like systems within a week of our technician working at your house, please contact the office so we can take the appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our staff member, employees and community.
- BTC is taking the appropriate measures to segment our staff so one person does not infect the entire staff.
We will be monitoring health agencies, business and industry groups to protect our staff, customers and community. We will update you as the situation warrants.
