December 2025

News from the Manager

KarenAs we wrap up another successful year, the BTC team wants to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to you – our valued members. Your continued trust and loyalty make everything we do possible. Because of your support, our cooperative has been able to improve network reliability and invest in new technology that keeps our communities connected. Every milestone we reach is a direct result of members like you who believe in the power of community ownership.

BTC continues to grow and serve our communities better each day. We’re especially thankful to have welcomed several new employees to our team this year. These talented individuals bring fresh energy, skills, and dedication to our mission of delivering reliable broadband with exceptional service to our members. Together, we’re building something special: a locally owned network powered by neighbors, for neighbors.

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Open House! This special event is our way of saying thank you to our loyal members and celebrating the growth and success we’ve achieved together. On December 5th, from 9 am to 2 pm, join us for a fun day where you can meet our team, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and see firsthand how your cooperative is investing in local communities.  Bring your family, friends, and neighbors – everyone’s welcome!

Cooperatives, like BTC, matter because they provide essential services in places larger companies overlook. In rural areas especially, broadband cooperatives step up to build world-class networks, create local jobs, and ensure every member has access to the technology they need. Choosing a local broadband cooperative means your internet provider is owned by the people it serves. Your dollars stay in the community, upgrades are made with members in mind, and every decision reflects local priorities – not corporate profits. At BTC, we put your needs first in every decision we make. That’s why you can count on real-person support from neighbors who know you by name, same-day service on trouble calls whenever possible, and continuous reinvestment in our network to keep your connection strong and reliable. When you choose BTC, you’re choosing a cooperative committed to delivering exceptional service while strengthening the place we all call home. Local. Reliable. People-first. That’s the cooperative difference.

In closing, Happy Holidays from our BTC family to yours! We’re grateful you’ve chosen BTC. Serving you is our privilege, and we look forward to another year of embracing innovation and strengthening the connections that bring us together. Thank you for being an essential part of our cooperative family!

Thank You For Your Years of Service!
